The USSR lost terribly during the first 2-3-years of the war due to Stalin’s and Beria’s pre-WWII purge of the Soviet officer corps. Stalin, the butcher, made a big mistake in conducting the purges. From mid-1943 onwards the Soviet military improved and the Nazi military declined in quality and effectiveness.

I already stated that I know of what Stalin did to Poland and the rest of Eastern Europe as well as the people of the USSR. Yes, I know very well what Stalin did because I am of Polish descent. However, the USA did not replace one madman with another as you state. Unfortunately, all the Western Allies believed Stalin would do what he said he would do and that is to allow free elections in Eastern Europe. It didn’t happen and the only other alternative was another war. BTW, I served in the mech. inf. in Germany etc. from 1970-73, so don’t belittle my nation’s or my contribution in oppossing Stalinism.

it wasnt just all nazis. we now know many war-crimes like Polands Katyn massacre & certain work camps in czech etc that were thought to be german were actually Russian operated
stalin was killing millions even before the war (6 million alone in the ukraine famine preww2) its too bad the ruskies SKULL FUCKED europe for 3 decades, mayb thats why u cant think straight chirstof

BTW, I am of Polish descent – do you realize that Hitler and WWII killed ~25% of the Polish population, the highest per capita loss of any nation involved in WWII, and that hitler stole over 200,000 Polish children that had the ‘proper’ Aryan characteristics?? My neighbor fought in the Polish AK for 5-years until captured in the 1944 Warsaw Uprising, and he killed many Nazis as have many people I have known. You are from the USA and are a deluded person and a joke. To Hell with Nazis etc.

Austrians are Germanic and Italians are Italians and both are not Slavic peoples. The Bulgarians were allies as were the Italians and Romanians and Hungarians and Slovaks so they would be spared enslavement but would be second class citizens of Hitler’s World Order and they would provide food and other materials for the Reich. If Hitler had won and remained in power his plans would have gradually taken plac over years and decades.

No, Hitler’s plan was to enslave the Slavs and all other non-Germanic people and eventually exterminate most of them except those that would be used as slaves to produce food and other materials for the Nazis.

The “enslaving” was to put people to use, and the ones who were not to be saved were the Jews. The occupied territories were to be united.

Great Britain, the USA, France, the USSR etc. traded with Nazi Germany before WWII started, and there was a wrong side and it was the Nazi side because Adolf the Grosse Sheisskopf started invading and enslaving Europe.

Not really. The Russians inflicted 80-85% of total German casualties and 65% of total Allied casualties in Europe. Our lend lease stuff that the Russians really valued were our trucks and the Airacobras. The rest of our stuff was crap, especially our tanks!!!!!

oh yeah… i forgot about that! good point. So if Japanese invaded Siberia, Russia would have been boned. But maybe the Russians would have beaten the Japanese like in mongolia 1939 since the Japanese army was generally inferior to the Russian army. atleast in 1945. But yeah the Russian reserves in the East being brought to the west to fight the germans DID help them.

Allied supplies to USSR were an important contribution and welcome but the USSR preferred many home produced units over what was sent. Most fighting and killing done on the eastern front with the USSR engaging most of the strength of Germany for several years. Japan was itching with a fight with USSR and was trounced in two battles on Manchurian border by Zukhov. Same Siberian regiments threw facists back from Moscow.

Exactly. Many countries participated in the WW2 big and powerful ones as well as small countries with weak armed forces. But all of them won the WW2 in joint effort. And it is very difficult to predict any “what if” scenarios. What if USA never entered the war, what if there were no Allied supplies on eastern front etc. Nobody knows.
WW2 have been won by Allies, Axis lost. Sad thing is that many people dont even know what countries were on which side.

If the USA did not join in the war at all, Europe would most likely be split up between the USSR and Great Britain and the rest of the allies. The Russians inflicted 1 million german casualties in 1941 alone. They destroyed Armeegruppe Center before the Americans even landed in Normandy. The lend lease act was ahuge help and Russia needed it, but that was not America directly in the war. Most likely most of eastern and central europe would have been communist b/c by 1944 the germans were lost.
