For 60 years most of the footage was forgotten in attics, archives and even rubbish dumps. Rescued and restored the footage can now show the original colour film at last. My great uncle shared some stories about world war 2. He experienced combat on Iwo Jima. He provided suppressing fire for the guys that hauled the flag up to be raised at the historic flag raising.
